A robot delivery platform ensures that a complete logistics chain is fulfilled in a more efficient way with the assistance of robots and humans. Right now, we have a fleet of three different kinds of robots. Between them fullfiling the last 400 meters, the last 5 miles and the first 10 meters - working together with humans, making sure that the delivery fee is reduced.
The number of online purchases are increasing versus purchases in retail stores, this upward trend generates an incredible challenge in terms of logistics. Kiwi Campus is providing a technological solution to this growing demand, a solution with operational efficiency in mind. Right now, Kiwi Campus is the company that has delivered the most meals in the world with robots. At Kiwi, all of our relevant KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are aligned towards efficient, low cost, operational perfection.
The first one is related to our logistic approach. Here at Kiwi Campus, instead of creating one complex robot to do the first 10 meters, the last 5 miles and the last 400 meters, we creating a robot for each segment of the operation, specializing it, optimizing it and also making it more efficient.

The second advantage is that our technical team is in Colombia, this gives us the possibility to promptly execute our ideas and plans in a better, more efficient, way.
We have also started a pilot in which we train self driving engineers in Latin America.

The third competitive advantage that we have is our approach to use humans in delivery. This meaning that the robot manufactured for the first 10 meters - is total automated. The robot for the last 300 meters is 90% autonomous. For the remaining 10% we use humans to overwatch our technology and make sure that the operation is flawless. Finally, the Kiwi Triike was created for the last 5 miles of the delivery, as of this moment, the Triike is driven by a human but is assisted by built-in cameras and sensors.
This “humans + robots” symbiotic relationship is one of our competitive advantages, mainly because it gives us flexibility and makes us thrive towards what matters: An interconnected world at the hands of everyone.

Logistics operations are in our company’s DNA, our founders created a logistics company in Latin America that was later on sold in order to evolve the robotics idea. This has allowed us to create technology and robots aimed towards a true efficient operation.
Our most important KPIs are Orders per Robot per Hour and Number of Human interventions required per day - these are metrics that change our way of execution and allow us to be 50% cheaper than using a human courier.
Felipe and Sergio cofounded their own company to deliver groceries in Latin America, and Jason used to work in an automation project in NASA. They met years ago in London and they have been working in numerous projects ever since.
Kiwi is raising 5-7 Million Series A round. The milestones that we will achieve with this financing are:
1. Being able to deliver in a 3 mile radius around UC Berkeley in less than one hour, with a three dollar cost.
2. Being able to deploy one thousand robots per month (including Kiwi Triikes and Restaurant Bots), and building a fully functional and reliable business development team.

The main goal is to be able to deliver 100.000 orders per month with robots with our current funding round.
We are going to charge delivery companies, retailers, groceries stores and whoever wants to deliver something, these are all potential customers. We are going to charge them a fee lower than that of a human, while also offering them the possibility to control everything regarding the delivery operation. While also offering more reliability and less involvement in lawsuits and contractor issues. All of this considering that we are already 50% cheaper than a human courier.
